One of the coolest effects in food photography is flying / levitating food effect. It's very simple to achieve - just put your camera on a tripod and hang your objects in the air on wires or metal skewers.

Arrange your composition, play around a little bit until you get your desired shot. Light up your scene if needed and you are good to go – shoot a few variations and when you're done simply import your photos to editing software. If you are using Photoshop just grab the Clone Stamp Tool, Spot Healing Brush Tool or Patch Tool and remove the wires. Add color correction if needed and that's it!
