Prague is definitely one of our favourite cities in Europe, if not in the world. It's also one of the most picturesque places, so without further ado here are our top 8 photography spots in Prague, Czech Republic.

1) Smetanovo nábřeží

Street between Legion and Charles Bridges on the right river bank of Vltava. Named after the famous composer Bedřich Smetana, gives a great view of the Hradčany district.

6) Pedal boats ride

For as little as 200 CZK (9 USD) you can rent a Pedal boat (or pedalo, as they are called in the native Czech language). Spend an hour of paddling around the Vltava river - it's a great way to take some good photos and also chill after a long day. Rentals are located near Masarykovo nábřeží.

7) Petrin Hill

Hillside park with lots of walking paths. You can reach the top both on foot and by the Funicular. Our favourite two spots here are: restaurant near Nebozizek funicular station - just sit, relax and enjoy the view; and obviously the Petřín Lookout Tower - this 63.5 metre-tall steel tower with an observation deck is a major tourist attraction.

8) Hradčany

Castle District of Prague is where you'll visit the famous Prague Castle and Saint Vitus Cathedral. It also offers great lookouts of the city, and the best way of getting there is by the Zámecké schody - the view is beautiful here.
